First time in the history of National Games in Pakistan, it is being held in Sindh which highlights the renewed commitment of the Sindh government to promote sports and athletics effectively. Considering the current situation and the aim of organising standard sports the Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah conducted a meeting today along with the authorities of Sindh Olympics Association and Pakistan Olympic Association at the CM House.
At the end of the meeting, it is reported that CM Murad had instructed the authorities to cater best training to the athletes, medical care, transportation and modern infrastructure.
“The construction of a new swimming pool and acquisition of modern electronic timing and scoring systems. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the POA, the Government of Sindh, and the Sindh Olympic Association to establish a coordinated framework for organising the games. This initiative will be a milestone for athlete welfare and institutional coordination” – CM Murad
As per the given information the rescheduled games will be on 6-13 December 2025, from 1-9 May 2025. Though the PCL has been switched over to another location due to the border friction with India, this National Games is primarily changed to establish well-constructed facilities to all the participants of this game.
