You must have to create an Apple ID to use Apple devices and Apple services. It is a very simple and free of cost process. In this article I will share all methods to create an apple id.
Create Apple ID on iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings
Go to the Settings app on your device. - Tap Sign in to your iPhone
At the top of the screen, you will see Sign in to your iPhone. Tap it. - Tap Do not have an Apple ID or forgot it?
Choose Create Apple ID. - Enter your personal details
- Type your first and last name
- Enter your date of birth
- Type your first and last name
- Enter your email address
You can use your own email or tap on Get a free iCloud email address. - Create a password
Make sure it is strong and has at least 8 characters, a number and an uppercase letter. - Choose your country and add your phone number
This helps for verification and account recovery. - Agree to terms and conditions
Read and tap Agree. - Verify your email and phone number
Apple will send you a code on your email and phone. Enter the codes to verify.
You have now created your Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad.
Create Apple ID on a Computer (Mac or Windows)
- Go to Apple Website
Open your browser and visit: https://appleid.apple.com - Click Create Your Apple ID
You’ll find this at the top right corner of the page. - Fill in the form
- Enter your name, country and birth date
- Enter your email address (this becomes your Apple ID)
- Create a strong password
- Add your phone number (for two-factor authentication)
- Enter your name, country and birth date
- Verify you are human
Complete the CAPTCHA to confirm you’re not a robot. - Check your email and phone
Apple will send you a code by email and SMS. Enter both to finish the process.
Now your Apple ID is ready to use.
What You Can Do With Your Apple ID
Once your Apple ID is created you can:
- Download apps from the App Store
- Use iCloud to store photos, videos, and documents
- Use Find My iPhone to track your device
- Access Apple Music, Apple TV and other Apple services
- Sync contacts, calendars and notes across devices
