Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem has been featured in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. This list honours young talents in entertainment and sports who are making a big impact in their fields.
Arshad made history at the Paris 2024 Olympics by winning Pakistan’s first ever individual Olympic gold medal with a massive 92.97-meter throw in javelin. This not only broke the Olympic record but also brought Pakistan back to the global sports stage after more than 30 years. Forbes described his performance as a “stunning show.”
Following his Olympic success:
Arshad received over Rs 153 million in prize money from the Punjab and Sindh governments.
A road in Islamabad has been named after him.
Pakistan Post issued a special Independence Day stamp in his honor.
Arshad continued his winning streak by securing a gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships with a throw of 86.40 meters . It was Pakistan’s first gold in this championship in over 50 years.
Now he is preparing in England for the upcoming World Athletics Championships in September which is the only major title he has yet to win.
