The escalation between India and Pakistan is getting intensified with the targets that are striking at the key military installations and air bases in Pakistan. The latest target, Rahim Yar Khan Airport which is located in the Punjab Province in Pakistan is partially damaged as per the given reports. Concerns are multiplying since it is a civilian facility. This attack at the airport was carried out by India following their strategic strikes at Murid and Chaklala.
All these strikes were imposed under the part of ‘Operation Sindoor’ which is observed as a provocative military escalation by Pakistan. Rahim Yar Khan Airport plays a vital role in connecting the parts of Pakistan that are remote. Along with the Murid, Chaklala strike aims to undermine the defensive capabilities and destabilizing of the internal security of Pakistan. But it has been counterattacked by Pakistan by launching operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos.
As a nation committed to peace and progression, the government of Pakistan has urged the international community to take swift actions for India’s unprovoked aggression in de-escalating the situation.
