A memorandum of understanding (Mou) has been signed between the United Arab Emirates اور پاکستان to allow mutual exemption from entry visa requirements. This will benefit citizens of both sides having diplomatic and official passports .
12th Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission Meeting
The memorandum of understanding was inked in Abu Dhabi at the twelfth meeting of the Pakistan–UAE Joint Ministerial Commission, led by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and the UAE’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Agreements Signed Between UAE and Pakistan
Several major agreements were signed during the session:
- Visa Free Entry MoU between both nations
- Creation of a Joint Task Force to encourage investment
- Cooperation Agreement on Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy
- Official Protocol for future follow ups and sector wise coordination
Areas of Future Collaboration Between UAE and Pakistan
The two countries agreed to expand cooperation in a wide range of areas:
- Culture and Tourism
- Aviation and Railways
- Climate Change and Food Security
- Defence and Manpower Export
- Higher Education and Technology
Global and regional issues were also discussed during the meeting. Pakistan and UAE both have a relationship of mutual respect and friendship.
The 13th Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission meeting will be held in Pakistan and dates will be announced later.
