There is talk going around that the U.S. President Donald Trump might be visiting Pakistan in September 2025, according to a report by News. Sources who seem to be in the loop say he could land in Pakistan on September 18 during his broader trip across South Asia.
Trump is also supposed to visit India during this South Asia trip, but honestly, nothing has been officially locked in yet.

When the news came out, PPP’s Sherry Rehman said it is a good sign — but she also kept it real, saying people should not get ahead of themselves. “Sounds like a positive step,” she said, “but until the Foreign Office actually confirms it, we cannot say for sure.”
Trump’s Claim of Preventing a Nuclear Clash
All this talk about Trump visiting comes not long after he claimed he actually stopped a nuclear war between Pakistan and India.
In May 2025, things between the two countries got really tense — people were genuinely worried it could get out of control. Trump later told reporters that it was his team that stepped in and got both sides to pull back before things got worse.
Speaking at a press conference on May 13, he said, “We managed to stop what could have been a full-scale nuclear conflict. A complete ceasefire was reached, and I think it is going to last.”
He also gave credit to both governments for showing what he called “wisdom and strength” during a very delicate time.
If this trip actually happens, it might mean the U.S. is looking to shake things up a bit in its relationship with Pakistan. Trump has never really followed the rulebook, but some people think his focus on this region shows that Washington still wants a seat at the table. He even made a light-hearted suggestion earlier this year that Pakistan and India should sit down and have dinner together to sort out their differences.
