Step by Step Process to Apply for a UK Student Visa
Get a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
You must first apply to a UK university and receive an offer letter. Once you accept the offer and meet the conditions, the university will issue you a CAS letter which is a unique reference number for your visa application.
Check Financial Requirements
You must show proof of having enough money to:
Pay for your first year’s tuition fees
Cover your living expenses in the UK (approx. £1,334 per month for London, £1,023 for other cities for up to 9 months)
Funds must be held in your bank account (or your parent’s) for at least 28 consecutive days and the bank statement must be no older than 31 days before your visa application.
