Pakistan hosted a high-level World Bank delegation this week – the first in 20 years. Nine World Bank Group Executive Directors visited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to talk about long-term collaboration.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the World Bank’s support over the past seven decades, highlighting numerous development projects made possible through their partnership. PM Shehbaz Sharif stated that the World Bank’s new Country Partnership Framework will invest $40 billion in پاکستان, which will help bring a new era of development, according to him.
