Quetta Gladiators have made a huge decision for Pakistan Super League PSL10 by selecting Sarfaraz Ahmed as their team director. Sarfaraz Ahmad has been with the permit since the beginning & led them to victory in Pakistan Super League PSL 2019.
Now, instead of playing, he will guide the team properly from the management side with our dedication, skills and experience.
Sarfaraz Ahmed’s New Role
Sarfaraz Ahmad has been a key part of Quetta Gladiators, leading the Quetta Gladiators team for several seasons. His leadership, experience, dedication, skills and fighting spirit made him a lover’s favorite.
However, this year, he was not picked in the Pakistan Super League PSL 10 draft. Instead of crushing away, he has taken on a current role as team director, where he will help in team planning & decision-making.
What Will Sarfaraz Ahmad Do?
As a current team director, Sarfaraz Ahmad will guide the coaching staff, share his well known and beneficial experience with players, & help in making better match strategies. His understanding of the game will be valuable and beneficial, mostly for young batsmen in the squad. Quetta Gladiators’ management believes his presence will boost team morale in the upcoming matches.
“Today I would like to declare that Sarfaraz Ahmad is the new Team Director of Quetta Gladiators,” said Omar.
“Sarfaraz Ahmad led QG really well as a captain & I am hopeful he will do the same as Director of Quetta Gladiators too. The combination of Moin Khan as Head Coach & Sarfaraz as Team Director would do wonders for the team,” he added.

Quetta Gladiators’ owner, Nadeem Omar, conveyed confidence in Sarfaraz Ahmad, saying he has always been the heart and best player of the team. The management trusts that his leadership skills and strategies will help the team perform very well in Pakistan Super League PSL 10. Lovers are also happy that Sarfaraz Ahmad is still part of the Pakistani team, even if not as a player.
