There is a buzz across social media regarding issuance of new currency notes for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 by SBP (State Bank Of Pakistan). People are curious to know the fact as new Eidi notes held a traditional charm on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
On Tuesday, The State bank of Pakistan (SBP) in an official statement clarified that the central bank will continue to issue new notes on Eid like previous years. SBP denied rumors about shortage of new currency notes and said that the bank has already issued Rs 27 billion worth of new notes to 17,000 commercial bank branches countrywide.The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that public will be able to obtain fresh notes conveniently through their bank’s widespread network before the Eid season.
On top of that, SBP has guaranteed the availability of high quality fresh notes through ATMs during Eid.

SBP has also appointed special cash monitoring teams to undertake on-site inspections at commercial banks and supervise fair distribution of new currency notes to the public.
