The Rescue 1122 has formally introduced the Rescue 1122 EMT Internship Programme 2026 and is seeking applications of all eligible persons throughout Punjab. The programme provides paid internship in other districts and the programme is designed to equip young professionals in emergency medical services.
A spokesperson of Rescue 1122 mentions that the internship is available to the applicants with a minimum of the second division in the related areas. The applicants should have a diploma or a degree in nursing, or the paramedical sciences or any other related health field. It is limited to candidates domiciled in Punjab.
There is also an age restriction of the applicants by the department. They have to be aged between 18 and 30 years. The internships will also be offered in various districts and the trainees will be able to gain first hand experience in emergency care practices, rescue operations and real field response situations. Considering the case of Gujrat, 58 internship seats have been allocated to that place alone.
The Rescue 1122 EMT Internship Programme will provide selected interns with a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000, which means that young healthcare professionals will have an excellent opportunity to train and be supported financially simultaneously.
Applications are accepted via the CTS portal before January 27, 2026, and should contain the application of interested individuals.
