The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made renewing your Pakistani CNIC much easier in 2025. Now, you can update your CNIC at home using the Pak ID mobile app — no more waiting in long queues at NADRA offices.
This new digital service works on both Android and iOS phones. Through the app, you can:

Method to Renew Your CNIC Online
- Download the Pak ID App
Get it from the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iPhone). - Register & Log In
Create an account and log in to start the process. - Start Your Application
Tap “Apply ID Card” and choose either:- Myself (for your own CNIC)
- My Blood Relatives (for family members)
If applying for a family member, they must be present during the process.

- Take Your Photo
Use a white background, no glasses, and make sure your face fits inside the on-screen circle. - Fingerprint Verification
Select “Renew”, then click “Verify Fingerprints”. Use your phone’s camera to scan your fingerprints. - Sign the Form
Sign directly on your phone screen or upload a picture of your signature. - Fill in Your Information
Enter your personal details and choose your processing speed:- Executive – 7 days
- Urgent – 12 days
- Normal – 30 days
- Executive – 7 days
- Make the Payment
Once NADRA approves your application, pay the fee through Easypaisa, JazzCash, e-Sahulat, or debit/credit card. - Receive Your CNIC
Your renewed CNIC will be delivered to your given address within your chosen time frame.
