Following the same pattern as of 22 August, the gold market in Pakistan recorded a further decline on 23 August 2025. The price of 24-karat gold per tola slipped to Rs. 359,300, compared to yesterday’s Rs. 360,100.
The latest decline highlights the continuation of volatility in the bullion market, following the sharp fall on 21 August and the brief rebound on 22 August.

According to analysts, the rates of the gold are very much sensitive to international gold prices and changes in exchange rates of rupee against the dollar. Local prices can continue to fluctuate in the coming days due to the uncertainty within the global economy along with the interest of investors in safe-haven assets.
Current buyers are venturing at this stability whereas traders are still careful about any altering in the international markets.
