According to Pakistan Women national selection committee, it has to replace the squad because of the upcoming tour to South Africa. The off-spinner, Rameen Shamim, has been ruled out due to an injury and that has led to both the senior and A team changes.
This is the full squad update, new captains and tour schedule.
Rameen Shamim was dislocated in the interphalangeal joint (IPJ), a joint in the left hand, during one of his training activities at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi. She is recommended to take 4 to 6 weeks of rest and rehabilitation.
As a result, Umm-e-Hani, an all-rounder who is also off spin, was elevated to the top of the ‘A’ team to take the place of Rameen in the senior team.
