In order to provide quicker and hassle-free solutions to the grievances of the people, Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has introduced a modern Complaint Management System (CMS). This new initiative will be a major move towards digitizing delivery of the public service in the region.
Features of the New CMS Mobile App
WASA Managing Director Saleem Ashraf chaired a meeting to review the system, highlighting its user-friendly features. The newly launched CMS mobile application allows citizens to:
- Register Complaints easily from their smartphones.
- Submit Feedback regarding the quality of service.
- Track Progress of their complaints in real-time.
This online strategy is meant to enhance openness and to make sure that the citizens are kept updated on the progress of their complaints.
In a bid to reinforce the system even more, a special dashboard is installed at WASA Rawalpindi. This dashboard will enable senior officials to be able to monitor complaints live hence accountability at every level.
All the officials, including DMD Engineering Sohail Aslam, have been instructed by MD Saleem Ashraf to make sure that the issues are resolved immediately or he will not tolerate negligence in serving the people.
