Punjab Class 8 Exams Date Sheet 2026 Announced

The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority in Lahore has made the date sheet of Grade 8 Annual Examination 2026 official. The central tests will be held within the four-day period in early March, and this will provide a smooth evaluation of the students throughout the province.

School-Based Assessments for Remaining Subjects

The authority stated that schools will conduct all other Grade 8 papers themselves by using the IBS facility under the School Based Assessment (SBA) model. The official schedule for these remaining subjects, along with the End of Year Term Assessment 2026 for other grades, will be shared by the respective schools shortly.

Critical Candidate Guidelines

In order to maintain a well regulated and well flowing examination process, the authority has laid down efficient rules concerning all the appearing candidates. It makes the students arrive at the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the time the paper begins to prevent any inconvenience. Candidates are required to carry their original B-Form and roll number slip in order to get access to the center. They have to carry their own blue or black ballpoint pen, a clipboard, and, specifically, a geometry box to get the Mathematics paper. The authority has highly banned the carrying of calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, and any other electronic equipment into the examination center. 

What is the start of the Punjab Grade 8 annual exams in 2026?

Formal Grade 8 core board exams will start on Monday, March 9, 2026, with the Mathematics paper, and will end on Thursday, March 12, 2026, with the Science paper. All tests will be conducted between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

What are the required documents and stationary to the exam hall?

Each student has to carry his or her original B-Form and official roll number slip with them. In case of writing, the candidate should carry a blue or black ballpoint pen and a clipboard. Even the candidates taking up the Mathematics exam must carry their own geometry box. It should be noted that all electronic devices such as calculators and smartwatches are strongly prohibited.

Will the invigilators bring additional writing sheets in case I lack space?

No, the authority has made it very clear that no further sheets will be issued. Students should be very attentive towards their space and only the answer booklet that they have should be used in completing the objective and subjective parts of their papers.
