The State Bank of Pakistan has announced adjusted banking hours for Ramadan based on the needs of staff observing fasts and making the fasting easier for them. Banks will now open with shortened working hours providing a balance between their professional duties and religious observance.

The working hours will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Thursday and a half-day closing at 12:30 PM on Fridays. The revised working hours were made to facilitate the employees who observe fasting while keeping the banking services operational during this holy month.
