Veteran TV actress Asma Abbas who is a mother of Zara Noor Abbas and elder sister of Bushra Ansar has revealed that she is facing a severe allergic reaction after undergoing a skin cauterisation procedure to remove freckles.
In a recent video, the senior actress opened up about her health and shared the painful experience with her fans.
“I’ve had dark spots on my face for quite some time, and it’s something that runs in my family,” she said. However she explained that unlike other family members, the spots appeared more prominently on her face which bothered her because of her on screen appearances. That is why she decided to consult a doctor.
The doctor recommended skin cauterisation which is a treatment used to remove things like freckles or skin tags by using heat or chemicals to burn the unwanted tissue. But the night before her session, Asma applied a random face mask without knowing it might affect the procedure.
“After the treatment, my skin reacted badly. A large part of my face turned red due to a severe allergy,” she explained.
