The Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakistan Day 2026 have officially been announced by theState Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in terms of holidays. The notification indicated that there will be a four-day closure of all the public and private banks in the country and the financial institutions.
This is the unified holiday when the religious celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr and the national celebration of the national day Pakistan Day on the 23 of March are involved.

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and all the other financial institutions will be normal on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Impact on Banking Services
Although physical branches will be closed, digital banking services such as ATMs, Mobile Banking Apps, and Internet Banking will be available 24/7 to have access to urgent transactions and cash withdrawals.
The customers have been encouraged to finish any important over-the-counter banking business before the holidays start on Friday to prevent any form of inconvenience during the holidays.
