The second phase of the BISP (Benazir Income Support Program) 8171 payments has been officially announced. As you know this time the payments were divided into different phases. The first phase has already covered over 65% of the districts where eligible people received an installment of Rs. 13,500.
When Will the BISP 8171 Second Phase Payments Start?
According to the latest update by BISP:
Second phase payments will begin by the end of April 2025 or within the first or second week of May 2025.
If you did not receive your first phase installment then you are expected to get your payment in this second phase.

Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, Jampur, Nankana Sahib, Rawalpindi, Vehari, Murree, Chakwal, Attock, Talagang, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujrat, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Khushab, Okara, Sheikhupura, Pakpattan, Faisalabad.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:
Buner, Lakki Marwat.
Sindh:
Nowshera Feroze, Karachi Central, Karachi East, Korangi, Malir, Karachi South, Karachi West, Kemari, Thatta, Ghotki.
Balochistan:
Quetta, Kech, Panjgur, Gwadar, Khairpur, Awaran, Lasbela, Hub, Harnai, Ziarat, Sibi, Zhob, Loralai, Duki.
Gilgit Baltistan & AJK:
Haveli, Ghizer.
How to Check Your BISP 8171 Payment Status
Before visiting a payment center you should first confirm that your installment is ready. Here are easy ways to check:

Open the messaging app on your mobile.
Type your 13 digit CNIC number (without dashes).
Send it to 8171.
You will get a reply about your payment status.
Check Your BISP 8171 Payment Status Via BISP Tehsil Office:
Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil office.
Take your original CNIC and required documents.
Ask the representative to check your payment status.
Check Your BISP 8171 Payment Status Via BISP Helpline:
Call the BISP helpline (during working hours Monday to Friday).
Provide your CNIC number to get information about your payments.
How to Collect Your BISP 8171 Second Phase Payment
Once you get confirmation that your payment has been released:
- You will receive a message from 8171 with the details of your assigned camp site.
- Visit the camp site with your original CNIC and other required documents.
- Complete the screening and biometric verification at the center.
- After successful verification, receive your Rs. 13,500 payment.
- Always check the full amount before leaving and collect a receipt.
Eligibility Criteria for Second Phase BISP 8171 Payment
You must meet these conditions to qualify:
- Successfully registered in the BISP database.
- Family income below Rs. 50,000 per month.
- No government employee in the household.
- Valid original CNIC (with mobile number registered against it).
- Female headed households are given priority.
