The official notification released by the Finance Department reads:
Governor of Punjab is pleased to sanction disbursement of pay and allowances and pension as on 16 th March, 2026 on account of Eidul Fitr to Government employees and pensioners, who belong to the Muslim Community, in accordance with Rules 5 1 (1)1 and 5 2 (3) respectively of Punjab Financial Rules Volume-I. Following, accordingly, you are hereby authorized to provide further necessary action to that effect in respect of disbursement of pay and allowances and pension on [16 th] March, 2026 positively.”
