You can now pay and check your traffic fine at the comfort of your home by using your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card). Government of Punjab has digitised the process by E-Challan system, which is administered by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA).

An E-Challan is an electronic traffic ticket issued when someone breaks traffic rules like:

How to Check E-Challan Online by CNIC
You can easily check your e-challan online by following these steps:
- Visit the official PSCA E-Challan website:
https://echallan.psca.gop.pk/ - Enter your details:
- Type your CNIC number (without dashes)
- Or enter your vehicle registration number or chassis number
- Type your CNIC number (without dashes)
- Click on Search or Check Status
The system will show any pending fines connected to your CNIC or vehicle, including:
- Date and location of the violation
- Type of offence
- Fine amount
- Download or print the receipt if you want a copy for your records.
Check E-Challan Using the Mobile App
You can also check your challan on your smartphone:
- Download the PSCA Public Safety App (available for Android & iOS).
- Open the app and sign up or log in.
- Tap the “E-Challan” section.
- Enter your vehicle number or CNIC.
- You’ll see a list of all pending or paid challans linked to your ID.
How to Pay Your E-Challan
You can pay your challan:
- Online through banks’ mobile apps (like HBL, Easypaisa, JazzCash).
- Or physically at any branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP).
Once paid, your challan will automatically be updated as “cleared” in the system.
How to Dispute a Wrong E-Challan
If you think your challan was issued by mistake:
- Visit the PSCA website.
- Open the Online Review/Correction section.
- Submit your claim with valid proof (like video or photo).
The authority will verify your case and cancel the challan if it’s found incorrect.
