Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in her Karachi apartment under mysterious circumstances, and investigators are still trying to find out what really happened — whether it was a natural death, an accident, suicide, or possibly murder.
According to sources close to the investigation, Humaira had been struggling with serious financial problems for several months before her death. On October 7, 2024, she sent a WhatsApp message saying “Hello, I want to talk to you,” to around 10 people, including her brother Salman. Sadly, none of them responded.
Investigators revealed that she had also contacted some close friends asking for financial help, but no one came through for her.
A special investigation team is now questioning 63 people and analyzing digital and forensic evidence. They are checking her phone, laptop, and tablet — all of which were locked, but passwords were found written in her personal diary.
No medicines or drugs were found at the scene, and her hands were said to be placed over her chest. Her gym trainer mentioned that she had a very strict fitness routine and used to exercise for up to three hours a day.

Humaira Asghar’s lifeless body was finally discovered on July 8, 2025, when police and a court official forced their way into her apartment in DHA’s Ittehad Commercial Area. She had been facing eviction due to unpaid rent going back to April 2024.
For weeks, neighbors had complained about a foul smell, but no one investigated sooner — possibly because the flat next door had been empty until February, and there was no one nearby to notice anything unusual.
When they finally broke in, every door was locked from the inside. There was no sign of anyone else. She had died alone.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what truly happened.
