The first event of the LAAM Fashion Week (LFW) has come to an official end in Lahore (Jan 31 -Feb 3, 2026), and it was a historical breakthrough in the fashion industry of the country. Since this was the first Runway-to-E-tail event in the history of Pakistan, LFW was not only a venue of fashion, but democratized fashion, with over 120 countries having access to shop collections as soon as they came down the ramp.
LFW incorporated real-time commerce, unlike the conventional fashion weeks on which customers wait months to see the collections in stores. The collections of high-street, pret, and luxury were immediately online on the digital platform of LAAM. This model is able to bridge the gap between retail conversion and runway visibility which was a long-standing challenge in the industry.
The four-day experience was a guided tour of the different Pakistani fashion worlds:
Day 1 (Legacy and Icons): The first day began with a museum-style tribute to such legends as Bunto Kazmi and Rizwan Beyg, and then Ali Xeeshan and Tena Durrani came on the stage.
Day 2 (High-Street Power): Dedicated to access and its brands such as Agha Noor and Sapphire, showing that style does not have to be a luxury that is hard to afford.
Day 3 (Avant-Garde): Presented bold collections of The House of Kamiar Rokni and Saira Shakira, a combination of art and wearing.
Day 4 (Grand Finale): The show ended with a spectacular performance by HSY, called Musafir, which is a tribute to the spirit of the traveler, as well as the lineups of Nomi Ansari and Zainab Chottani.
