The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has opened applications for the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26, giving Pakistani students the chance to study for free at top universities in Oman.
The program, part of Oman’s effort to welcome international students and strengthen cultural and academic ties with Pakistan, offers fully funded undergraduate scholarships in a range of fields — including Engineering, Humanities, IT, and other sciences (except medicine).
What’s Included in the Scholarship?
- 100% tuition fee waiver
- Monthly stipend: OMR 200 (without housing) or OMR 140 (with housing)
- You’ll get around OMR 200 each month if you arrange your own housing.
- If accommodation is provided, the monthly amount is about OMR 140.
- They also cover the cost of one return air ticket every year.

Who Can Apply?
- Must be a Pakistani citizen
- Completed Intermediate (or equivalent) in the last 3 years
- Under 23 years of age
- Medically fit
- Able to obtain an Equivalency Certificate from Oman’s Ministry of Education
How to Apply
- Choose your university – First, decide which Omani university you’d like to study at.
- Send your application – Apply directly to that university before August 25, 2025.
- Once you get the acceptance from your chosen university, make sure you save that letter somewhere safe — you’ll need it later.
- After that, go ahead and send your full application to the Higher Education Commission. Just remember, their deadline is September 23, 2025, so don’t leave it to the last day.
