The Pakistan Government has announced the Pakistan Public Holidays 2026. The Cabinet Secretariat (Cabinet Division) announces this and includes the national, religious and minority holidays amongst ordinary people, banks and government offices.
The list assists the citizens and organizations in planning the activities they will undertake, travel and other events all year round. The Islamic holidays will also be subject to observation of the moon.

The Pakistan Public Holidays 2026 apply to:
- Government offices
- Banks and financial institutions
- Educational institutions
- Private organizations (as per policy)
Pakistan Public Holidays 2026: Optional Holidays for Minorities
The government has also posted optional holidays alongside the public holidays in the Pakistan Public Holidays 2026. These enable the employees belonging to the minority communities to take leaves based on their religious havocs and other special occasions.
There are optional holidays that are flexible and allow religious diversity in Pakistan.
