Pakistan has formally announced its team to participate in the T20 World Cup 2026 at a press conference in Lahore. It is announced when the team is in the last stage of preparation of the largest tournament in the field of cricket.
The PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi added that following the withdrawal of Bangladesh at the event, the board would seek the views of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif before approving the squad to finalize. This process is among the mechanisms of facilitating an easy time in the tournament.
Sri Lanka and India will share the T20 World Cup 2026. All the matches of Pakistan will however be held in Sri Lanka because of security and logistical arrangements. Pakistan is already on its feet in preparation of challenging the best international teams.
