Who Can Participate in PCB Talent Hunt Trials?
And before you dust off your cricket kit, you’ll have to meet the PCB’s eligibility criteria. The trials have two categories:1
U19 Category: Players born on or after 01 September, 2007 In addition, the player needs to have a minimum age of more than 12 years.
Emerging Category: This is for talented players across all age groups. The upcoming players have no age limits for ages.
In order to curb age fraud and maintain transparency, the PCB had made verifying documents stringent. Each participant is required to show their original NADRA-issued B-form, CNIC or birth certificate at the venue of trial. Without proper age verification you will not be able to register.

What Happens During and After the Trials?
The trials will be watched over by senior members of the national women’s selection committee to ensure that they are fair, and merit based. Former Pakistan women’s cricketer Batool Fatima and former Test cricketer Asad Shafiq will spearhead the efforts, while local regional coaches will supplement the work in each city.
You will develop these players into something more than just yourself. They will regain their PCB development pathway but in a more structured, professional environment. The intensive training will help them for the upcoming domestic tournaments and international assignments in future.
When does the PCB women’s talent hunt start in 2026?
The talent hunt officially begins in Faisalabad on April 14, 2026, and concludes in Rawalpindi on May 1, 2026.
What is the age limit for the U19 women’s cricket trials?
For the U19 category, players must be at least 12 years old and born on or after September 1, 2007.
Can older players participate in the PCB talent hunt?
Yes! If you do not qualify for the U19 category, you can still showcase your skills in the “Emerging” category, which has no age restriction.
