PSL Season 10 matches have been resumed on Saturday with a special tribute to the Pakistan Army after a week long break due to increasing tensions with India.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has attended the match along with Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
During the innings break a one minute silence was observed in memory of the brave citizens and soldiers who lost their lives in the recent attacks by India. Players, fans and dignitaries all stood united in tribute.
Following this singers Sahir Ali Bagga and Asrar Shah performed a heartfelt musical tribute to honor the sacrifices of Pakistan armed forces.
In a further show of support, the PCB announced that Sunday, May 18 will be officially dedicated to the Pakistan Army by celebrating the successful completion of Operation Bunyanul Marsoos.
It is important to note that PSL 10 had been temporarily suspended for nine days due to the sensitive situation between Pakistan and India.
