The Punjab Board has already declared the timeline of admission of Intermediate Part one students of the current academic year. As per the notification made on December 5, the students will be able to make their applications by paying one fee before December 12, 2025. Late fees can be paid until December 13 to 22, 2025, to submit admissions.
The date of admission initially announced by the board was between December 1 and December 12. But since there have been five days already elapsed, students now have seven days to go through with their applications. With only four working days, after taking into consideration the bank holidays, this is a concern to the students, as well as the teachers.
Teachers have stressed on the fact that there is a scarcity of time and students should be advised to give in their forms as soon as possible in order to prevent further fines. They also pointed out to the problem of the current inflation, which is a significant burden to pay fees to many families.
Parents and students have also been found to be greatly worried by the possibilities of financial burden in terms of late fees, which are twice and even thrice, and urge the authorities to revisit the policy. Numerous calls have been made to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to act without wasting any more time and initiate measures to alleviate the challenges that students and their families are experiencing.
The declaration comes when learners are about to start other academic years and submission of admission forms would be very essential to prevent enrolment delay. The board has also reminded the students to ensure that they do it within the set dates so that their applications will not be rejected.
As time runs out, education experts recommend parents and students to have everything done in time, as there are formalities to be filled and they do not need to lose the extra money going to waste at the hands of the time. The board keeps a close eye on the process and urges students to be strict to the schedule.
