The Punjab Safe Cities Authority started back in 2015, thanks to a new law. Their goal is pretty simple: make our cities safer and better connected.
Their main task is to run a modern system called PPIC3. It’s a network that helps the police keep watch over big cities in Punjab. By using the latest technology, it improves security and helps police work more smoothly.
The Safe City project focuses on making busy city life safer and more comfortable for everyone living there.
It brings together advanced equipment, trained teams, strong infrastructure, and smart management to prevent crime and respond faster to emergencies.
In Lahore, the PPIC3 Centre is already active, helping the police monitor the city in real time. They’re also working on opening similar centers in other big cities, so more places can get the same safety support.
