Offering a solution that is greatly needed among female commuters, authorities will offer free electric vehicles to the chosen candidates.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the official Sindh Pink scooter distribution date has been scheduled for tomorrow, March 8.

According to Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Senior Minister of Information, Transport and Mass Transit, this is a particular project that aims at enhancing access by women to safe and reliable transport.
The provincial government, through the provision of personal electric scooters, wishes to contribute to safe and independent movement and women should be able to travel to their work places and educational centers with ease and dignity.
Sindh Free Riding Training
The project does not only involve giving out the keys. Minister Memon says that the government wants to make sure that the beneficiaries are well equipped to go through the traffic in the city.
In addition to the free pink electric scooters, the chosen women will also be entitled to receive:
Professional Riding Training: A step to step instruction on operating the electric scooters.
Road Safety Education: The complete training on road safety measures and road regulations that enable them to operate the vehicles safely.
Sindh Future Eco-Friendly Initiatives
The project is a fundamental element of the provincial government initiative in the wider efforts of supporting women and also championing the use of environmentally friendly modes of transport.
