Cast & Story: What to Expect in Squid Game Season 3
Lead actor Lee Jung-jae returns as Seong Gi-hun (Player 456) alongside Lee Byung-hun (The Front Man) and Wi Ha-joon (Jun-ho). The upcoming season also introduces new players like Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, and Jo Yu-ri while continuing the story of deadly games, VIPs, and hidden betrayals.
Gi-hun this time finds himself at a crossroads torn between revenge and redemption. The games are said to be even more intense and morally challenging by revealing the darkest sides of human nature.
The Front Man’s past will finally be revealed and Jun-ho continues his dangerous search for the truth but unaware that a traitor is watching him from within.
Director’s Vision: The End of the Squid Game
Interestingly, the director called the season crazy and intense while actor Lee Jung-jae described it with a different tone as about forgiveness, harmony and a powerful ending.
Jung-jae revealed that the finale was shaped after deep discussions and input from the entire team and he believes viewers will be surprised.
