The Supreme Court (SC) has officially announced its summer vacation schedule. As per the notification, the SC will be on summer break from July 16 to September 8, 2025 but the court offices will stay open during this period. It was also mentioned that important cases will still be heard during the summer vacation before the designated bench.
On the other hand, the Punjab School Education Department has finalized the summer break dates for schools in the province. Summer holidays are expected from June 1 to August 9. However if the weather becomes extremely hot, the holidays may start a week earlier.
So far while the dates have been discussed and finalized internally, no official notification has been issued yet regarding the closure of schools.
