If you are an instagram user and you are too sensitive about your privacy that you do not want others to see your following list then this article would be helpful for you. Instagram does not allow its users to directly hide the following list so I will share some alternative tricks.
Make Your Profile Private to Hide Following List on Instagram
When your profile is private then only approved followers can see your following list.
- Open the Instagram app.
- Go to your Profile (tap your profile picture at the bottom right).
- Tap the three lines (☰) at the top right.
- Select Settings and Privacy.
- Tap Account Privacy.
- Turn Private Account ON.
Now only your followers can see your following list. Strangers or unapproved users will not be able to view it.
Restrict a Specific User to Hide Following List on Instagram
If you want to hide your following list from a specific person then you can restrict them.
- Go to the profile of the person you want to restrict.
- Tap the three dots at the top right.
- Select Restrict.
This limits what they can see and interact with including your activity.
Block the Person to Hide Following List on Instagram
If you are okay with going one step further then blocking someone will completely hide your profile including your following list.
- Open their profile.
- Tap the three dots on the top right.
- Choose Block.
They will not be able to see your account at all.
