The PCB has announced when Pakistan’s T20I tri-series in the UAE will start. The first match is on August 29 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. These early games are mostly about letting the players adjust to the pitch and weather and get themselves ready for the Asia Cup in September.
It’s also a good chance for the team to give some new players a run while the experienced ones provide stability. Fans are already talking about who might impress and how the new combinations will work on the field.
The PCB said the series will help all teams get used to the UAE conditions, which will be important ahead of the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup, scheduled from September 9 to 28.
Pakistan will face Afghanistan in the opening match on August 29. Each team will play the others twice, ensuring at least four matches per team. The top two teams will then move to the final on September 7.
