    Pakistan Announces 15-Member ODI Squad for Bangladesh Series

    Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) disclosed that they will have a 15 member ODI team to participate in a three match series with Bangladesh. The game is expected to be hosted in Dhaka, between March 11-15, 2026.

    All three matches will be played at the historic Sher-e-Bangla national stadium. The Pakistan national cricket team is supposed to arrive in Bangladesh on March 8 and the first day of the formal practice of the team will be on March 10.

    Who is Captain for Pakistan ODI Squad for Bangladesh?

    Shaheen Shah Afridi who is the captain of pace spearhead will lead the ODI captain in this tour.  Six players who have not been on their ODI debut have also been added to the team, which is Abdul Samad, Maaz Sadaqat, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Saad Masood, Sahibzada Farhan and Shamyl Hussain in an extensive overhaul.

    Four of the uncapped picks, Abdul Samad, Maaz Sadaqat, Saad Masood and Shamyl Hussain have just been included in the Pakistan Shaheens team that just participated in the match with the England Lions team at Abu Dhabi and have performed positively.\

    Major Players Dropped After T20 World Cup

    After a disappointing performance in the 2026 T20 world cup to be held in Sri Lanka and India, PCB has undertaken drastic changes in the line up. Many of the influential senior players have been expelled out of the team in this series. The names of Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Usman Tariq, Mohammad Nawaz and Saim Ayub are not included in this list of such big names.
