The Hockey World Cup is a 16-team tournament which has officially been announced by the International Hockey Federation (FIH). There is a lot of excitement to be had by the hockey fans since Pakistan will be starting its campaign on the first day of the tournament.

The two highest scoring teams of each of the four pools will proceed to the next phase according to the FIH format which will form two new groups of eight teams in total (Pool E and Pool F). These new teams will then be narrowed to the semi-finals with the two best teams going to the semi-finals.
The final of the title of the World Cup will be played on August 30, 2026, in the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre, Belgium.
