The Government of Balochistan has officially declared that it had extended the closure of all educational institutions in the province. The current conditions in the region will result in the students and staff now noting a long break till the end of the month.
Balochistan Official Notification Details
On Sunday evening, an official notification was declared in Quetta, as per which the Balochistan government and the non-governmental educational institutions will be closed before March 31, 2026.
This decision is an extension of the one made previously on March 9 that initially mandated the schools to be shut. The provincial government decided to suspend the normal academic affairs but after evaluating the prevailing situation in the region, the government decided to continue with the suspension.
What Remains Operational?
Although the regular classes are suspended, the government has made it clear that some of the necessary activities of the administration and academics will not be impacted. The further operations will proceed as planned:
Continuous Enrolling Contests: Admission and enrollment campaigns will continue.
Digital School Census: Schools Data collection and census activities will continue to work.
Examinations: Any examinations which are scheduled will be done accordingly.

Yes, the official notification clearly states that both government and private educational institutions must remain closed.
