The BZU Multan Undergraduate 2026 Admissions process has officially started for intermediate students intending to get admission in a top public university in Pakistan. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 have listed Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan as the Best University of Punjab and 2nd in the list of Best Universities of Pakistan. Academic Eligibility Criteria & Merit Formula
Requirements differ among faculties and specific minimum percentages are required for admissions:
General BS Programs: Candidates should have passed Intermediate (FA, FSc, ICS, ICom) or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (2nd Division) from a recognized board.
Conditions for Engineering: Fsc Pre-Engineering or DAE with 60% marks. Applicants should also pass the ECAT test of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore or the internal departmental test of BZU.
The Merit Weightage Formula: Merit list for undergraduate admissions is arrived at using a ratio of 30 marks from Matriculation and 70 marks from First-Year / Intermediate marks.
BZU Admission Scholarships & Fee Waivers
BZU Multan has announced various types of Scholarship packages for the academic year 2026 covering all subjects, to encourage academic excellence and to support students of various backgrounds.
100% Tuition Fee Waiver: Provided for those who get high board results at their intermediate exams.
50% Tuition Waiver: If O-Level and A-Level students receive a 94% or above (equivalence mark), 50% tuition waiver will be given.
A student registered in the College can apply for National Scholarships like: CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarships, HEC need based Scholarships, PEEF scholarship scheme and Scottish scholarship scheme.
Step-by-Step Online Application Guide (How to Apply)
All the registration and application filling process is online through the university’s central network.
Account Registration: Register as a new applicant on the official BZU Admission Portal with CNIC Number or Form-B number.
Select Program: Your preferred departments and your study shift (Morning, Evening, Open Merit, or Self-Finance).
Upload Credentials: Scanned copies of your Matric certificate, Intermediate Part-1 result card, CNIC, and Passport-sized Photo.
Application Processing fee: Pay the fee at any bank branch with the application processing fee voucher generated to the bank.
The last date for submission of the online registration form for the application is 10th July 2026. Entry tests for Fine Arts & Engineering departments will be held in mid-July.
