X formerly known as Twitter has been restored in Pakistan. Users across the country can now access the platform without using VPNs or proxy services. The platform had been restricted for some time but access was quietly restored recently.
This development came at a tense moment as India launched attacks on several locations inside Pakistan including Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Ahmedpur Sharqia and Muridke. Pakistan military in response strongly condemned the strikes and called them cowardly unjustified.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, spokesperson for the Pakistan Army (DG ISPR) said the Pakistan Air Force acted swiftly and prevented Indian aircraft from violating Pakistani airspace. Pakistan defense systems were immediately activated and a strong response was given.
According to the military, Pakistan shot down five Indian aircraft and destroyed an Indian brigade headquarters. The DG ISPR stated that the country armed forces are fully prepared and are giving a strong and fitting reply to Indian aggression.
