    How to Check a Demand Notice?

    A demand notice is a formal letter or document sent by an authority, company or government department asking you to pay a certain amount of money. This may include utility bills, property tax, housing society charges, traffic fines or any other official payment notice.

    What is a Demand Notice?

    A demand notice usually contains:

    • The amount you need to pay
    • The due date for payment
    • Your reference or account number
    • Details about the charges
    • Instructions for how to make the payment

    It may be delivered to your home, emailed to you or available online through an official website.

    Where Can You Receive a Demand Notice?

    You might get a demand notice through:

    • Physical mail (at your address)
    • Email or SMS alerts
    • Online portals (like LDA, CDA, DHA, K-Electric, WASA, SNGPL etc.)
    • Your customer account on the service provider website

    How to Check a Demand Notice Online

    Visit the Official Website

    Go to the website of the department or company that issued the demand notice. For example:

    • For property tax: Visit your local development authority site (LDA, CDA etc.)
    • For utility bills: Visit the relevant utility company site (K-Electric, WASA, SNGPL etc.)

    Go to the Demand Notice or Billing Section

    Look for a section on the homepage that says something like:

    • Demand Notice
    • Bill Inquiry
    • Payment Details
    • Property Tax Bill
    • Account Statement

    Enter Your Information

    You will usually need to enter one of the following:

    • Reference number
    • Account number
    • Property ID
    • CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
    • Email address or phone number

    View Your Demand Notice

    Once you enter the required details, your demand notice will appear on the screen. It will show:

    • Amount due
    • Billing period
    • Due date
    • Payment method

    Download or Print Demand Notice

    You can either:

    • Download the demand notice as a PDF
    • Print it directly if needed for payment or record keeping

    How to Pay a Demand Notice

    Once you have checked your demand notice, you can usually pay it:

    • Online (via bank app, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or credit/debit card)
    • At a bank branch
    • At customer service centers
