Pakistani Javelin star and olympic champion Arshad Nadeem has made the country proud once again by winning Gold Medal at 26th Asian Athletics championship.
Arshad Nadeem secured first place on podium by making a great throw of 86.40 meters in mens javelin final. Although he just missed breaking the championship record of 86.72 meters but his incredible performance was enough to get first place.
Sachin Yadav from India won the silver medal with a strong throw of 85.16 meters while Yuta Sakiyama from Japan took bronze with 83.75 meters. Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage from Sirilanka started the event in the lead and finished fourth with 83.27 meters just missing a medal. Yasir Sultan from Pakistan secured eighth place with a throw of 75.39 meters.

The crowd really enjoyed Arshad Nadeem performance and appreciated him by singing the patriotic chants of Dil Dil Pakistan. This was indeed a brilliant comeback indeed by Arshad after the 2024 Paris Olympics Championship.
