Sindh fans of cricket no longer have to wait! Pakistan Super league (PSL) franchise has officially announced its name in the latest edition which was unveiled in a glamorous event held in the historic Niaz stadium.
The owner of the franchise Fawad Sarwar announced that the franchise will compete in PSL 11 as Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen.
The revolutionary new logo was also unveiled at a sold out stadium; a big milestone before the launch of the team.
A Grand Unveiling at Niaz Stadium
The event attracted a huge number of fans and live performances of music, fireworks, and festive images, which made it look more like a festival. The brand of Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen will be reflective of the rich culture in the city in addition to introducing a new modern and aggressive style of the sport of cricket to the league.
Star-Studded Squad
The Kingsmen have already made headlines with aggressive recruitment.
- Saim Ayub: The franchise made history by signing the worldβs No. 1 ICC-ranked T20 all-rounder for a record Rs. 12.6 crore in the Platinum category, making him the most expensive Pakistani player in PSL history.
- Marnus Labuschagne: The Australian star batter joins as a marquee overseas signing.
- Other Key Signings: The roster includes Usman Khan (Diamond category, Rs. 4.62 crore), Maaz Sadaqat (Emerging, Rs. 3.5 crore), and Akif Javed (Gold, Rs. 1.96 crore).
