IIUI Eligibility Criteria & Entry Test Policy
The university follows the rules and regulations laid by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan strictly for the IIUI Fall 2026 Admissions.
1. Undergraduate Programs (BS / BBA / LLB)
Academic Requirements: Intermediate (FA, FSc, ICS, ICom) or equivalent foreign qualifications (A-Levels/IBCC) with at least 50% marks. Requirements for Engineering and Computing degrees may be as low as 60%.
Admission Entry Test Policy: Per IIUI’s standard admission guidelines, most conventional BS programs award admission on an Open Merit basis derived from your Intermediate academic score, meaning no entry test is required for these fields. However, a departmental entry test is mandatory for all applicants choosing Computer Science, Software Engineering, and any engineering stream.
2. Postgraduate Programs (MS / LLM / PhD)
MS / MPhil Programs: Requires a completed 16-year education (BS or equivalent) with a minimum of 2.50/4.00 CGPA or 60% marks under the annual system. Candidates must pass the university’s internal test or a valid GAT-General score.
PhD Programs: Requires an 18-year education (MS/MPhil) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00, accompanied by a successful score in the targeted departmental entry test and interview.
IIUI Step-by-Step Online Application Process
The university has an all digital and centralized registration system, which removes the need for paper. Future students can fill in their profile in a smooth manner as follows:
Account Registration
Go to the International Islamic University Admission Portal, click on sign-up. To register your secure user account, please fill in your full name, valid email address and CNIC/B-Form number.
Fill Out Your Educational Profile
Log in to your newly created dashboard. Complete your Personal Profile and enter your Academic Records correctly: Matriculation (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC) marks as they appear on your official result cards.
Select Academic Program
Browse through the active departments and select the specific degree programs you wish to apply for. The system allows you to prioritize multiple choices if eligible.
Pay Processing Fee
Generate your processing fee challan form from the portal. Take a printout and pay the designated processing fee at any branch of the specified commercial banks listed on the invoice.
Upload Paid Challan & Submit
Log back into your admission account, scan the stamped paid copy of the bank challan, and upload the image file to your dashboard. Verify information and click on the last submit button to secure registration.
The last date for the online application is Friday August 7, 2026. The departmental entry test and compulsory admission interview are going to be conducted from 10th August till 12th August 2026.
