Karachi Literature Festival 2026 Theme
The theme the festival will be talking about this year is the perennial one of Literature in a Fragile World. In the 17th edition, it will examine how the stories, poetry, and critical thinking are the response to the social, political, and cultural uncertainty that the world is going through today.
The Managing Director of OUP Pakistan, Arshad Saeed Husain, pointed out the goal of the festival:
The dogmas still can be questioned and the mankind can stand before itself and be not afraid as it is one of the few places in the ever-polarized world where literature is concerned.
