The Karachi Whites and Lahore Whites have secured their places in the semi-finals of the National T20 Cup 2026 after the downpour on Sunday killed the important Group A matches at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar.
Rain Decides Group A Fate
Pouring rains did not allow any match to be played in the much hyped Lahore Whites vs. Karachi Whites game. There was no possibility of a toss and as such the match was called off and both teams received a much needed joint point that guaranteed their entry into the knockout round. Karachi Whites topped Group A with 6 points and superb net run rate of 1.457 whilst Lahore Whites moved on to second place with 5 points.
The second match between Bahawalpur and Peshawar also did not take place with the ball being bowled and another postponement ended the campaigns of the two teams. Now attention is drawn to the last set of Group B matches on Monday, which will include Abbottabad, Lahore Blues, Sialkot, Multan to determine the last two semi-finalists on Tuesday.
