Available Specialization Branches and Academic Guidelines
The batch of 2026-B covers several operational, technical and support branches. The candidates are required to have 16 years degree (Bachelor’s / BS / BE / MBBS / Master’s) from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan with at least 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA:
Information Technology (IT Branch): For tech-savvy graduates with qualifications in computer science, software engineering, cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI) and data sciences. Acceptive to both men and women.
Specialties: Open only to male citizens who have a BE or BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace or Mechatronics engineering.
Medical Branch: Open for doctors and specialists with an MBBS or FCPS degree. Provides direct access as a General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) or specialist.
Education and Law Branches: looking for Physics, Maths, English or Islamic Studies academics (Master’s Degree) and legal experts (LLB or LLM).
Supply and Operations Branches: For business professionals (BBA/MBA/M.)For (Com) or engineers interested in directing maritime logistics or naval leading operations
Core Eligibility Criteria
The selection board’s physical and age criteria must be met by prospective candidates:
Age Limits: Usually between 18 and 30, and may vary by highly technical branches such as Medical core, depending on the cut-off date stated.
Physical Stature: Male candidates should be 5’5″ and female candidates should be 5′ in height.
Nationality Status: Applicants should be Pakistan citizens. The local or domicile certificates of those from Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan are fully eligible.

Entrance Testing: Candidates will be required to take an initial intelligence & academic test on the computer as part of their registration.
Preliminary Medical & Physical Screening: If a test taker passes they will immediately be checked for height, weight, and sight and then perform basic stamina runs.
Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB): Short listed candidates will be sent for a comprehensive psychological and leadership test at the specified ISSB centres, whose format is discussed on the ISSB Pakistan Portal.
