PTA strongly repeated that it has zero tolerance policy against the illegal trade and tampering of mobile phone identifiers. The organization said that such actions are a serious threat to national security and public safety as they help criminals hide their identity and commit cybercrimes, fraud and even abductions.
PTA has also advised the public to report any suspicious activity to help protect the communication system of the country.
