Transparency and Public Participation
It is the initial tangible move to conducting long overdue local elections in Punjab. By offering a period of almost one month during which people can express their concerns regarding the changes of boundaries (May 26- June 23), the ECP is enabling citizens and political stakeholders to challenge the changes in boundaries, which will make the process democratic and transparent.
The last publication date of August 10 will be the last to open the way to the declaration of the proper polling dates.
